Nightmist blue! or a variation of it...judging by the blue dash its possible that was the original color?

The mustang in the pic. Is a 67 (or a 68 w/67 front and rear fenders)

Not to nitpick, but the car pictured is a 67' (non-functioning louvers and no side markers or running lights). As for the color, I like the night mist blue idea, but I've alway like Sauterne Gold or Candy Apple Red.

Single stage wimbledon white, gray sealer and black primer and then patina it. Patina numbers would be the icing on the cake. If not white then a suitable color for a TA race car from the 60's. This way you don't have to sweat chips and dings.

Love the vintage (and patina'd) TA look. Trans Am racing was about as close as you could get to modern Pro-Touring back in the 60's.

Yep I'm think a TA street look, in 1967 the team Shelby cars started all white in the first race and by the 2ed race Shelby had the yellow (sunfire yellow) and flat black hood/top fender Jerry Titus car, yes sunfire yellow is from A corvette. The Shelby team also had the **** thompson golf sponsor mustang in white and flat black hood/top fenders.

Im working on a Jerry Titus pro touring looking t/a mustang.

you should paint it a brown color with pigment because thats what ford represents!

The guys are building this car for me, and I really want a bright yellow! So I think we've compromised and the color will be black with yellow, or yellow with black. Stay tuned or watch our build feed...

This yellow Mustang looks pretty awesome but if it was mine I would lean toward a Porsche orange.
