Hey guys, has anyone used Reduced diameter AC lines? I have a spot where I need to make a tight 90* bend and was wondering if these bend better than the standard rubber AC lines?

Not sure what those are but check the EZ clip system from Vintage Air. It's made by Aeroquip. You can make tight bends and it has a reduced diameter.

Hey guys, I was thinking about going the EZ Clip route, but was looking at the tools needs and it seemed to be expensive for a one time deal. I found these and they use fittings like the standard size rubber hose, just that the fittings are made for the reduced AC lines. I guess the question I have is if I go the EZ Clip way, what do you think I'll spend in the tools to do them?
I spent around $350 for all hoses and fittings, crimper tool , etc for my 67 Camaro.

The crimp pliers are about 70 bucks. I loan them out to my local customers. See if there is a dealer near you that has them.
The EZ clip is stuf is awesome.

Where is the best place to purchase the E-Z clip fittings and lines?

I used EZ clip on my truck. I agree it is awesome. I actually had a spot where I needed to make some tight bends, so I bought the stainless weld on ends and some stainless line and the benders.......... I like to buy tools..... I bent the lines and tig welded the fittings on. You just have to be aware that if you have a very long run it will decrease the efficiency of the AC system unless you insulate it really well.
It's been a few months since I"ve bought any, but if I remember correctly this is site where I bought them. I bought the tool kit with the pliers and a starter amount of cages and clips too.

I believe this site is for Murdock Supply (or something). They are apparently Aeroquip's online retailer.

As has been stated, you find that the E-Z clip hoses will make a pretty tight bend and not kink. As Donny suggested, I would check for a local dealer. We offer the same loan-out to our local customers (with a deposit), for the E-Z clip pliers, mock-up units, and crimp the beadlocks for free. Just another reason to "Support your local hot rod shop!"
