Ok fellas, I'm heading over to Hot August Nights next weekend with my wife and also to Summit to order/purchase my new engine for my project! I figured I would take advantage of the 10% discount and the free shipping. So this is what I intend to start out with...

1. GM performance 350 H.O. Crate Engine rated at 330HP/380 FT-LBS torque

now I can't decide what Intake/carb set up to go with or what else! I'm totally lost here.

1. What intake? Edelbrock Air gap or Performer?

2. Which carb? Holley 750 or Edelbrock 750? smaller or bigger CFM's??

3. Which distributor? I hear there are space problems with an HEI..so I think I'll go with a small body MSD?

4. Fuel Pump?

5. Headers? what would you recommend?

6. Looking at getting a serpentine system. What would you recommend? MARCH? Billet Specialties?

7. the dilemna I have with the serpentine system is that I also want to add Vintage Air to the car so does the serpentine systems come with their own condensors or does Vintage Air have a serpentine sytem of their own?

8. Water Pump? What kind of pump should I get if I'm going to run a serpentine system?

9. Fans..I have a 4 row radiator..what kind of electric fans should I go with?

10. Clutch set up.. I have an M20 Muncie I am mating the engine with..what clutch set up would you recommend?

I'm hoping to buy everything I can in one shot so I apreciate any advise! Thanks in advance!!

Oh and feel free to add anything else I might have forgotten!!

1. I like the air Gap
2. maybe a 650 will work better on the 350
3. mallory's unalites are also nice

I would use the MSD 8361 and a Digital 6 box for the ignition
The Hedman Elite series are a bargin for good quality headers
Run a Long style water pump, more places for brackets to bolt to

DO NOT run an Edelbrock fuel pump... I would suggest a Mallory 140 with return style regulator.

Look at the Holley Street Avenger 670 Carb - great for a street car

either the RPM or the airgap will work fine.. i agree on the the 670 holley... AWSOME carb..

I had a march serp system... it was very nice..

Whatever headers you get make sure they are ceramic coated... I wish mine were..

I run a street/strip holley fuel pump on my engine... Hell even a stock $15 OEM fuel pump would work fine... I ran one on my 440hp 355 that ran 12.80s..

Use MSD Billit distributer and a 6AL.. they are sweet!
