Every few months it seems everyone, new and old alike need this reminder, so here it is.
Open discussion is for....-A place for Pro-Touring related discussions. This forum is not to be used for technical threads. Note: Any off topic posts should be placed in “The Outhouse”. For information on what constitutes an off topic post, please see the forum rules.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, tonight I have moved one thread that was asking suspension questions to..... SUSPENSION. Moved another one about the value of first gen camaros to ....... MARKET PLACE.

As much as I love protouring.com, I nor do the other moderators have time to keep moving threads to the proper section. We are all adults here, don't expect us to keep the house clean and tidy, do it yourself by using the correct forum for your thread. There have been many hours and much thought in the creation of the different forums and pretty much there is one for any topic. Don't place your thread in open discussion just so it will get more attention, it may the the kind of attention you don't want. I promise, I will call out the next one that blatantly violates this simple forum rule...
Thanks for your attention to this!

I dont think its totally their fault. I honestly dont understand the difference between "Open discussion" and "The Outhouse". It reminds me of the car shows that have too many classes and any given car could fit into two or three of them so you just pick one. just my 2 cents.

Each forum heading has a description to what goes there. It isn't rocket science and has worked well for over 10 years.

Lower traffic in recent months may indicate a need for hesitation with the moderation...

Really? What does that have to do with anything??? Sorry, but I don't follow that way of thinking. Slack up on the rules because of slower traffic? Someone has to clean up and move misplaced threads, namely moderators that do it for free in our spare time. As far as I am concerned if you can't post in the right place, don't post at all, I ain't nobodys Mama.

Thanks to those that have read this thread and understand what I am trying to say. It only takes a second to go to the right forum.
