I did mine and am helping a friend with his. Could easily be done in a day. Cut-off wheels and/or plasma cutter sure makes it faster, although a sawzall will also work. Spend most of the time removing the stock upper shock mount/cover and then grinding the subframe to make it look good.

With the jig DSE supplies the guesswork is taken out; just bolt it on, fit the pieces to it and weld it up. If you are not an experienced welder I would have someone else do the final weliding, this is going to be supporting the front of your car.

I second what Jody says. It can be done in a day. Cutoff wheels and a sawzall did wonders. I have a 110 welder so I went to a welding shop for the upper control arm mount fo better penetration after I tac welded the mount into place. I use my 110 for the rest.

Ahem - you do have to have the engine out of the car to install

Diddo on what Jody said. It took me a day to do mine. That included alot of grinding and welding on the subframe to make it look like I wanted. It can easily be done in a day.

You'll love how it handles!
