Have you guys noticed how many people are putting "pro-touring" in their for sale ads. These guys cut the springs add TT2's and now it's a pro-touring car..

Oh hell yeah. It pisses me off too. I saw an early model truck that had "Pro-Touring Potential" slapped on the ad. I looked and it was your basic, run of the mill, early model truck with plain jane this and that on it. But yeah, you mostly see it on the muscle car ads. Just a hook to jack up price and draw attention. :banghead: Same with the search for "X" and it brings up "blah blah, not X, Y, Z, K J, $ or &". I want to drop kick these people. Ok, I feel a little better already.:smoke:

Add this phenomenon to the growing list of "Why Ralph should hurry up with the Pro-Touring definition page".

Pretty soon I expect the Honduh boyz to be calling their Civics "pro-touring"

I just wish it was mandantory that they list this site in their adds-LOL.
I have always heard bad advertisement is better than no advertisement though. Maybe the suckers that fall for this scam will eventually find us here and convert their new ride to a true "Protour" car.

thats becuase every friking car truck that is lowerd and hase 17 inch rims with a paint job is ecsepted as sutch . to me pure pro touring -g.mashines cars are moderm equivelants of the trans am raceing series cars of the mid to eurly 70,s pony car wars . if it cant go fast on the track it would not qualify period . i remember only a couple of years ago there where mostly GM f body cars mustangs and A body cars .to manny HOD RODS today are labeld pro-touring gmashine cars!!!!! due to the lack of lets call it rules. there is no defenition ore gideline, there for every lowerd car truck with nice rims can be cald a pro-touring car . this seen will disapear as fast as it came and be upsorbt into the hodrot seen ...
