Mustang Heaven by Ringbrothers: Producer (1965) and Producer II (2007) side by side. The original Producer Mustang is on 18" front and 19" rear Forgeline RB3Cs, and Producer II is on 20" RB3Cs. If you could only choose one, which would you rather have?

See more of the original Producer here: http://www.forgeline.com/customer_gallery_view.php?cvk=595

That '07 needs to take after its dad and be a little more "down to earth". ;)

Beautiful cars.

I wanna do the body widening you guys did, adding to mini tubs you could fit some serious rubber, and widening the guards at the top line looks so good, suits it so damn well for some reason.

Definitely the '65 for me.

The 65 looks like a go cart compared to that 07. I'll take the 65.

Mind it? I LOVE it!! Look at that sexy deep outer, the directional spokes, the custom RB center locking nut, and the exposed hardware. Its a great shot. Thanks for posting it!

The 2007 is an awesome looking car, but when they are parked together like that the 65 shows us who the real deal is. IMHO

The 65 without question is the hotter car. It's amazing how different the wheels look on each car. To me you can really see that this wheel really needs more lip to show it's true beauty. It's just not nearly as an attractive wheel on the 07.

Don't forget that Ringbrothers widened the 65 by 4 inches. If you widened the 2007 by 4 inches, then you'd have room for some wider outers.

Yeah I wanna know how they did the tail widening in particular.

I assume they move the rear fins outwards and made the extension curve inwards along the boot line.

I don't know much about that part of the project. But my understanding is that instead of cutting it down the middle and spicing 4 inches into the very middle (aka: the "easy" way...ha!), they spliced 2 inches onto each side on the outside of the roof pillars (aka: the "hard" way). Yikes!
