A Good Friend Passed Away Today---Bill Howell's Dad

Just found out that Bill Howell's dad --Bill Sr passed away last nite. I had the pleasure to work along side of him when Bill gave me a job when my company bankrupted. This man was very knowledgeable in the construction business, funny to talk to, loved his wife dearly and God. For his age he would run circles around me on some days while telling me about the good old days. I will miss him and send my condolences to Bill and Jeff. The ProTouring community is huge and wide spread and wanted everyone to know. Rest In Peace Bill Sr.

Guys, thanks for all the kind words. Dad and I worked together on Tuesday and I left Wednesday morning for RTTC. Little did I know that was the last time I would get to see him but when we finished up that day I told him I loved him and he said "I love you too Son." If you have to pick last words, I think those are pretty special.
Obviously I missed last weekend's event but it seems it went off pretty good anyway. I still have my moments with the loss, but time does have a way of healing the pain.
If there is one thing I can pass on here, be sure to tell those you love that you love them. One day that chance will be gone.

Sorry to hear of your dads passing Bill. My condolences go out to the whole Howell family. I never got a chance to met Bill Sr. but have had the pleasure of working with Bill & Jeff years ago on cabins, they are great people and have been friends ever since.
