We're changing up a few things this year. We figured you guys were a little bored getting the same tour here at the TCI facility so Eddie Motorsports stepped up. They will be the official hosts to the dinner Friday evening. However, they weren't availablle to lead the cruise so we put together a fresh route(for the most part).
Check it out and let me know what you think. Total route to Eddie Motorsports is just over 100 miles.
If space permits I would like to stop at the turnout that overlooks Lake Elsinore towards the end of Ortega to get some photos. If anyone knows the area and how many cars you think we could shove in there safely, please let me know. If I remember correctly there was enough room to get 30+ cars in there if parked properly.
As a small little aside, I routed the cruise by our local track aka Adams Motorsports Park. For those that haven't been you really need to check it out. It is on Market street during the 4th leg of the trip.
Bill and I really didn't want to do an early morning run but due to the amount of places we're visiting I just couldn't push it back any further. For those that don't make the 9:00 line you can meet up with us at Magnaflow which is only 15 miles away.
These images are odd sized so I will bring copies with me to hand out at the Hotel.
Line up at the hotel @ 9:00 AM
Leave hotel @ 9:30
1st leg = Irvine to Magnaflow

2nd leg = Leave Magnaflow by 11:15 to In-N-Out Burger in Lake Elsinore ( I don't know why mapquest kept kicking in an extra u-turn after passing under the bridge at Interstate 15 but basically we'll just turn left on Grape St. (*see photo in the post below)

3rd leg = Leave In-N-Out by 1:30 to Riverside International Automotive Museum(RIAM) (big shout out to Dale from Dale's Restorations on making this suggestion)

4th leg = Leave RIAM by 4:00 to Eddie Motorsports - dinner after 5:00
