View Full Version : CPP GOOD or BAD
72 Black Knight

Good Evening,
I'm new to the site and I'm currently building a 1972 pro touring Monte Carlo, and I was wondering if anyone has used the pro touring kit by cpp and if so how is it? Is it as good as hotchkis and others or is it just some pretty powder coated junk? I mean for $3600 the stage 4 kit includes everything including big brakes? Any input and suggestions would be appreciated, Thanks,
Cyrus

Hey Cyrus,
Somehow I missed your post...... we are on the east side of Tampa and we can offer you a PT Member discount and if you pick up the parts NO SHIPPING fees which can be costly for all these parts.
We have some great parts/kits that work great on these cars and we are developing more for the future!
Here is a install article that the folks at Chevy Hi Performance did on our Level 2 kit:

We built a 71 Chevelle for the Super Chevy Handling Challenge that out handled a C5 Vette at the time.

This is what's wrong with this forum. Not many answers but a whole lot of sales pitches. I came here from the "other site" because there was a ton of good info here. ****, I asked a simple question for a small part and was told "we can build that for $XX,XXX" in PMs. STFU, that's not what I was asking, same as the OP..
Sorry OP.
Apparently the CCP stuff is a cast iron rip off of the ATX spindle almost exact for maybe the tapers and such could be wrong and built in China. Don't buy Chinese reversed "engineered" junk. They can't even build good toys to buy from the bubblegum machine.

This thread reminds me of the whole AIM Vs. s10forum debacle. Forum won.

I'm very dismayed that you could come to such a conclusion given that all of that was based on pure speculation.
