I would like to start doing some Heel/Toe pedal control but my first issue is that the clutch and brake pedals are about an inch higher than the throttle. Pedals are all stock Camaro and I am wondering what is the best method to get all three pedals at the same level. Any recommendations on how to level the pedals would be appreciated.

Been wondering the same thing. I have no idea how hot I could get my feet to the pedals in my 2nd gen either. Looking forward to some insight.

You don't want the brake pedal at the same level as the throttle, you want it higher so you can brake with the ball of your foot, and blip the throttle with side of your foot when you're at maximum braking effort. If you're having trouble, you might want to move the throttle to the left, so you can reach it. That's usually the problem with stock pedals (unless you own a Ford -- which gets that stuff right).

So John,
Are you saying the brake pedal needs to be aproximately level with the throttle with the brakes being applied which would mean the pedal is high at a static state? Does anyone know of any videos showing this tecnique?

Here is a good video, also shows the pedal height difference.

That's a great vid. I think everyone's brake set up/travel will be unique to their car. So it's a guessing game until your car is one the road and brakes are tuned. I put my gas pedal as close as I felt comfortable and have it about 1" below my brake. Hope it works!

Also note that the shape of the throttle pedal makes it easier to reach with the side of the foot. Most stock pedals are nothing like this.

I like the grating on the brake pedal for traction.

How hard does that car accelerate and brake? Watch the dirt on the floor ;-)

Or just get a dog box and left foot brake. ;)

Here is another interesting vid of 2 Nascar drivers at Infineon.
