sweet! dust it off and leave the exterior paint alone. add some black wheels and drive the nuts off that thing.

when i built my 69 camaro i went way overboard on the paint job costs and fine details. needless to say i am scared to drive it because its too damn nice. im building a more simple car at the moment to actually drive and enjoy.

good luck.

Looks like a great starting point, gut the interior for something more race inspired, and go have fun!
Any specs on the engine?

The engine is is tuned down from what I started with as I really want to be able to hop in this thing and drive it to some events. Living so close to so many great car venues I do not want a trailer queen as I've been there done that. So here is a quick rundown of what I built;

350 punched 30 over with 10.8:1 compression
Forged pistons, Eagle rods, forged crank all balanced
Voodoo solid roller cam #60131
•Advertised Duration (Int/Exh): 267/273
•Duration @ .050 (Int/Exh): 237/243
•Gross Valve Lift (Int/Exh): .566/.578
•LSA/ICL: 110/106
•Valve Lash (Int/Exh): 016/016
•RPM Range: 2500-6800
Edelbrock Performer RPM heads with Crane roller rockers
all this topped off with a Stealth Ram MPI fuel injection

I have a TKO600 5 speed to bolt to this (.64 5th gear)
12 bolt rear diff that I will be installing 3.90:1 gears

I've taken into account what you guys mentioned and I am going to build a really nice street machine but not something so nice I don't want to drive it. The pictures make the car look cleaner than it really is. It's going to need full rear quarters but the rest of the car is solid and its to bad someone did a really hack job on partial rear quarters or wouldn't even have to do them.
