Will a 5 3/4 backspace work on a 69 camaro?

I can not find anyone who has 17x9.5 with 5 1/2 b/s for my 69 camaro convert but I found some 19x9.5 with 5 3/4 b/s . will they fit? I measured and it looks like at the worst I will need to bring the shocks in 1/4". If anyone has 5 1/2 b/s can you please measure how much room you have between the rim and shock.

if the backspacing is the only deal breaker, put some good studs in the axle and add a high end billet 1/4" spacer if needed.

some high end 3 piece wheels come with a thin spacer riveted to the hub if needed to make the backspace exactly as ordered.

Thanks, I did not even think of that and I have the spacers sitting here. I just do not like the fact that Im loosing 1/4 " of outer lip. wish I could look at a set before ordering.

If that's your only concern, I don't think you'll even notice the 1/4" of lip.
