View Full Version : What is Ridetechs Warranty? No info on their website
I have two issues one very minor that my installer is taking care of but as of today I have something else that is nothing short of extreme. I just wanted to know how they cover air bars and strong arms from failure. Anyone? My installer plans to deal with it this week. Was surprised that no warranty policy is posted on their website.

Well speaking from experience I can tell you that RideTech WILL take care of you! I had some minor issues with some parts that I bought from a vendor that went out of business over a year ago and Ridetech was MORE than helpful in getting me back on track. Not an issue with a part malfunctioning but just the wrong part.. Im sure Darren or Bret will chime in here but trust me they are GREAT to deal with.

Our official warranty policy is 1 year from date of purchase. Unofficially...failures are rare enough that we look at every case individually. If a component has been obviously abused, has been modified, used in an inappropriate application or with incompatible parts, or is multiple years old, we will try to find the real source for the failure, offer some recommendations for avoiding the problem in the future and and offer a nominal discount on a replacement to get the guy back on the road.
In the even rarer case of a true manufacturing defect, [yes, it has happened a couple of time in the last 16 years :(] the component is replaced and then the true core manufacturing problem is resolved to prevent it from happening again.
We don't print that on the invoice or anywhere else because this market and our customer base is small enough to address these issues personally. We don't want to further irritate our customers with some elaborate corporate policy developed by an insulated legal department and administered by an minimum wage clerk when they have a broken hotrod. We just fix it.
Can you tell us exactly what has broken?

Bret will go out of his way for a customer. Who else will let someone take his wheel off his car to put on your car to see if you can slow your time down? Bret.
Last year at Indy i had a product of his that i had a problem with and the Ride Tech crew went out of there way to help fix the problem, I had a spare part in the trailer, put that on and monday morning Bret had a meeting about the part, and on Tuesday i had a brand new part at my door.
Ride Tech will take care of you.
Bret thanks for the response my installer has taken care of this with Jeremy this morning thanks again for the outstanding support it means alot in this business. I have had many times over the years where a company, big reputable ones blame me or the installer on parts failing etc because they didnt want to help a customer out. Its funny on some instances they would say it was isolated then it was all over forums with dozens with the same issue and they still wouldn't fess up to bad quality by outsourcing parts to china.
You guys Rock! thanks again.

I don't currently have any Ridetech parts on my car, however it is customer service like this that would lend me to have no reservations doing business with them. Good on Ridetech for being a stand up company.
