I got a 84 s10 with a 3 inch drop that has around 400whp just on the motor. I need a way to stop this now as I dont want to be riding around with stock drums and go to stop and cant.
I have thought for a quick upgrade I would go to the junkyard and get a disc brake setup off a 94-02 camaro. Dont know if I need to get them off a v6 or v8 model?
Is this a simple swap or what all is involved?
What do yall think or can offer any help to this issue?

98-02 Fbody are the better brakes... V6 and V8 is the same brakes as well.

too bad you couldnt get similar drop in front (assuming drop spindles) from later 2 piston blazer (98 up ) front spindles then all you need are adapter plates and Corvette calipers/rotors assuming you have large enough wheels.

You can probably do newer ~2000 Blazer rear disc. The backing plates bolted right on the 8.5" 10-bolt in my Camaro.
Just grab the parts from a jimmy/blazer/zr2. Backing plates and calipers are all the same. You'll need rotors from a 2wd iirc. I've done a few of these swaps and it's incredibly easy. You can mount an adjustable proportioning valve in line, or grab the master cyl and prop valve from the donor vehicle.

Exactly right. The 4WD Blazer hardware is eazy to find but the rotor is too deep for the 2WD S10. You could score the backing plate and calipers with the internal parking brake for about $45 from a junk yard then get new 2WD rotors (11 5/8") from your favorite parts store. That is what i did- bolts right on. There are also Wilwood calipers available for the front, but, the Z parts are alum two pistons anyway.
You may know that G-Body cars such as 78-87 Malibu / Regal / Cutlass ect use the exact same spindles, brakes, and control arms. These "Metric" suspensions are super popular in circle track, so you might want to check out Speedway Motors or other sources
