Got a friend of mine that has a sick 71 Barracuda... The suspension is beat and he wants to upgrade without breaking the bank. Wants to do Front and Rear, keep the same tire rim combo that he has and has approx 3-4k to spend.. What system or parts should he get to get the best bang for his buck? Global West doesnt sell a kit, neither does DSE or SPEEDTECH.. Any suggestions? Looking for complete bolt in if that is possible...

If you are looking for a bolt in type of system the Hotchkis stuff is the best out there, no doubt..... Track tested too
The more involved systems are Reilly motorsports alterkations....XV motorsports.... That's about it
After that it's all custom made or involve alot of fab work

Firm Feel makes some better "stock style" stuff too
I'd do the Hotchkis for what you are trying to achieve:

Best bang for the buck would be a collection of select replacement parts from Firm Feel. They can upgrade shocks, bars and leafs for around $1500. After that is XV Level 1. This is an upgraded collection of stock style parts for around $2200. After that would be the Hotchkis TVS system for around $2700. Again, more upgraded stock parts with a relocated upper control arm.
After that are the full out coil over type, tubular replacement set ups from a number of sources that will run you around $4000+ per end of the car. Providers here are Alterkation, XV Level 2, Magnum Force, QA1, Mr Norms, Blue Zombie, and Unlawful Racing.
