White Lightning 69 Camaro Custom

Here is a Custom Camaro I am building it is a Crazy Custom pearl white paint, this is 10 coats of Exstacy pearl over a white base and the stripes are black. the complete car looks white with black stripes till the light hits the pearl.
it is a 396 Brutus small black chevy with a T56 magnum and a 9" ford with a Heidts 4 link and Heidts front end. We are running MSD's new Atomic EFI system. Hookers Dark Side Ceramic headers. Randys spoilers new chin spoiler,
Recaro leather and suede seats, Sony Audo system, Billet Specialties 18" wheels, Wilwood brakes, should be done in a month or so. will have to complete build up on the website soon customshop.org

Here is a shot with the new Billet Spec wheels on it. he motor is installed it is a 396 Brutus engine small block we are running the new MSD efi system on it.

I will say, despite the fact that there are a million first gen Camaros out there, you always manage to make yours stand out from the crowd!

where did you get the pearl from? whom makes it?

It is a ProSpray line called outrageous Paint. names Exstacy pearl it is a dry pearl mixed in with an intercoat clear. I did Bright white base and Brillant black stripes added 5 coats of the pearl then 4 coats of clear, sanded that down and added 5 more coats of the same pearl then 4 more coats of clear. It was alot of work but the customer had a look he was going for and we nailed it for him. He is super happy with it.

the trunk is Black leather and white suede with Sony amplifiers, and a pair of Dual oddessy batteries. made a hidden compartment to store cleaning supplies, Billet spec. trunk hinges in black.

Wizard cooling rad and int. fan system. fully polished it really looks nice and set off the engine bay. Billet spec. support bars with billet washers.

Ordered up a MagnaFlow stainless exhaust system for it. We are added a set of Electronic cut outs also.

Great job and now I'm going to see if they make that in an aqua type colour for my '67.

here is a few more pics of the progress. Taillights are in door panels almost finished black and white suede with a Hidden blue back lite bowtie. Digital dakota gauges are all wired up, LED driving lights also wired up.

Here is the latest stainless exhaust system coming along, electronic cut outs installed, Billet steering wheel mounted, stainless gas tank instaled, Heidts 4 link system and a custom 9 inch rear end.

got the new Billet Specialties steering wheel installed and the Phantom products touch n go start system. a few other billet parts going on also. Digital Dakota gauges and a custom suede covered console.

got the Magna Flow mufflers installed and did 3" stainless all the way out the back hope to Fire up the Brutus 396 small block tomorrow. should
sound pretty nasty with the cutouts open........

Nice paint! I must say, that is the first time I have seen the cutouts turned inward, good idea!

Pretty much done. we took it to the muscle car nats. last weekend. showed it off a little bit
Only have a few more minor things to do. but its waiting till spring to be finished completely
I have a 1,000 hp Corvette 1962 we are building and a 1966 karman Ghia with a viper drive line in it
we are finishing for a couple other customers so they are on the hot seat now.
