I have a 68 camaro with LS1/4L60E 2000 camaro center console (auto) and the stock cable is too short. I know this i a common mod with these cars but i cant find any post that give a clear answer. Dose lokar or B&M make a cable or can i get my stock cable modified. Also what size cable do i need for the throttle cable Lokar makes a 36" and a 48" LS1 Cable?

That console looks great. I'm fond of B&M cables. They are easy to adapt. Otherwise grab your too-short cable and drive down to the Chevy dealer. The last time I did that (it was a Ford install), the dealer had all kinds of cables for me to compare. I'm guessing a similar vintage 1500 truck cable will work great. Just a guess.

I went to a wraking yard and they did have them they are just about 24" too long, i thought some one had to have a better solution? i hope there is a cleaner looking cable out there

Back seats are out of a 2006 Pontiac GTO (2) buckets, front seats are 2008 corvette, center console complete shifter, e-brake are from a 2002 ss Camaro I tried using as many OEM parts as possible easy to replace just in case

If you don't like the B&M solution, Take the cable you have down to the Chevy dealer. Shifter cables get damaged in accidents all the time. So dealers keep a supply hanging on the wall. If you find a helpful service desk, they should carry your cable back to the inventory area and compare the ends and length with other cables. I'm hoping that a console equipped Silverado or older Impala / Impala SS cable will do the trick. Also consider reaching out to Jeff Tate here on Pro-Touring.com

Good luck. The interior looks great.

Can't help with your transmission issue, but I like the vette seats. Can you share some details on how they're mounted?
