Deciding the type of edlebrock carb..

I have a 396 built. High performance pistons, a race cam...etc I am deciding which carb to install and I am debating the edlebrock carbs. I am debating between the performer and the thunder. Anybody have any input about these carbs and which one may be a better fit?

in order to help we would need specs on the cam and heads my my uncle always had good luck with a tunnel ram and 2 650 performers on his 475 ci bbc but it was making close to 700 horsepower
