Racepak vendor?

Are any of the sponsors Racepak vendors?

I ran the search and contacted the ones that came up in older posts but none of them are Racepak vendors any more. I can go direct to Racepak for the unit but would prefer to send business to a forum member/sponsor if possible.

Just get it from Racepak, that's what I had to do. They like to keep it that way. Their technical support is second to none and the need for a middle man is wasted time evidently from what I went through because I tried to do the same thing as you.

Have fun with al the choices of gauges and do dads you can put on.

Jim, which dash system did you get? I'm looking at the UDX Street Rod version since it supports turn signals etc that are needed on a street car.

I have the IQ3. You will have plenty of wiring from your main harness to do turn signals with LED's and mount them anywhere you want. You will want to add a seperate speedometer so you have a rock solid odometer that you can't loose your miles due to an electrical failure someday and it makes you legal in most states to have it that way. You also want a seperate speedometer because your GPS may not always get a signal. You can of coarse use one of you input channels and set it up so you have your speed done digitally from a wheel sensor or driveshaft sensor but that uses up another channel, but there are plenty of channels to pick from. I really like having the extra speedometer with the trip odometer to help calculate my mileage and keep track of repairs and the last time I did them before I log them down.

I have 2 USM modules that allow me to use stock GM sensors that save a bit of money. I use the Racepak sensors for my oil,fuel pressure,and water temp and the rest are GM sensors hooked to the USM's

The abilities of the IQ3 are practically or impractically endless. I put my GPS antenna under my rear spoiler and it works great hidden there.

The Stax gauges these days are also very appealing. The Racepak support is what is the best thing, when you get someone to log onto your laptop and set your system up for you for free it is priceless.
