Hey everybody ,
I just wanted to let everyone know that I will be working at Detroit Speed and Engineering as of Monday Sept. 24th , 2012 .
I will be the new Project Shop Assistant, which means I will assist the part of the business where customer cars , project cars , and test cars are built . ( and there are quite a few cars in the shop )
I will be doing parts and supplies acquisition and helping with the projects , plus attending some events with Kyle , Stacy , Keith , Ryan , and the guys .
I want to thank Larry Callahan ( for this site ) , Bill Howell , the moderators , all the members , sponsors , enthusiasts , friends , and people on pro-touring.com that have helped me make the acquaintances and acquire the knowledge of the hobby that have made this possible .
THANKS !
( I also have a degree in Automotive Technology and many years experience in parts and shipping too , but you get what I mean . Meeting people at the events helped me turn my knowledge and training into a dream job )
This is a dream career and it wouldn't have been available to me without you guys !
I hope to be a valuable asset to the Detroit Speed Team .
And I also want to thank Kyle and Stacy Tucker for believing in me and giving me a chance ..

Congrats Jeff! DSE is a fantastic place to work--every person in there works hard, plays hard, and is the best I've ever seen at what they do. Incredible team making incredibly innovative hot rods and products. I'm very proud to have them on my resume and as friends. Give everyone my best. Except Chris. You'll understand.

Well Jeff , what the heck is your Camaro going to look like in the future? I know you will be like a kid on Holloween with the big bag for candy for that Pumpkin of a Camaro!!!! I still remember you asking the question about what we thought you should do to it, now you will have drool all over your face every day. just make sure you don't tear it apart and never get to drive it again. Maybe it will become another TEST CAR you lucky guy.
Congratulations and I look forward to seeing you at the events with the DSE crew.

I'm very happy for you that you are going to be working for DSE, and while it's a dream job for may of us here, I just want to say that Kyle and Stacey are fortunate to get you. I know many of you here have called Jeff for parts in the past, and know how great he is to deal with, but since he has worked at my local dealership I have been fortunate to work with him on many projects in person, and I'll really miss that. Jeff is a great guy, and the best GM parts man I have ever dealt with. He truly goes above and beyond to help his customers, and I'm sure that personal philosphy and work ethic will fit right in with the great people at DSE.

Sorry I've been a little absent on the Forum lately , but I've been incredibly busy up here at DSE .
Plus, I don't have a computer to surf the web with . I'm staying with some friends up here , but I don't have a computer to really get on and spend any time on .
I'll get back on here soon , as soon as I get my own place and get a computer again ..
