OK so Ive seen threads for the mopars mustangs and chevys but nothing for the odd balls out there, like mercury comets and torinos and the such. post em up if ya got em or like odd ball cars. forgive me if there is already a thread like this but I've searched and came up empty.
Ill start it up this is my 1969 mercury comet 2dr hard top currently has a 250 inline six but working on a 460 bb swap with a t56 trans. Ignore the vette rims there going to be swapped for some rushforth wheels when the funds present themselves.

How about a Vic for odd-ball? Very plain I know, but its cheap to insure, and has room for six adults comfortably up front and 6-8 dead bodys in the trunk. LOL64074

Do it, you will love it. Make sure to grab a cop one, that way you get a tranny, PS, and oil cooler, no vinyl top, 140 mph speedo, and heavy duty suspension. With the coolers and HD equipment you can drive it like you stole it everyday. Love the F-85 by they way; awesome project

I would love to have an "aero" vic too. Total black out, and then becuase its got a mod motor, grab a mustang supercharger kit and rock and roll. Theres a white one on you tube that has a Lighting engine in it. Becuase truck motor, it's big and sticks out like a roots blown engine, but its a mod motor. Very cool

If I had the money, a friend of mine has a "Vegamino". It started as a Vega wagon and was cut down to make an ElCamino style car/truck with a Vega GT front clip. The coolest part, though, is it's mid-engine! The engine sits behind the rear seats, and sticks out into the bed. It's backed by a Saginaw 4-speed, but I can't remember what the transaxle is. The car only weighs 1800lbs, and the chassis very strong and doesn't flex. It would be cool to slap some sticky road race tires on and let it eat!!!
I'll try to get some pics of it next time I see it.
That Mav is sick.
Another fan of wagons here.
Did someone mention a 5.4 powered White Vic

Thats it, I love that car. You can scare the snot out up to six people in that thing. A PT Tahoe would be awesome. Of course I dig anything "outside the box". Blood, sweat and thought is more important to me than looks and money, when it comes to cars.

Thats me, I just opened a thread about dropping my Hoe.
I wish I could say that Vic was mine. Found that trolling through vic forum.

My Dad had a Galaxie just like this, same color and everything. He bought it new in with a big block and top loader 4 speed, then traded it for a brand new K-Code '66 Mustang Fastback. These are the cars that planted the seed for my brother and I to be car guys. The green Chevy in front of the Galaxie was my grandfather's. I remember riding shotgun and not being able to see over the dash. No child safety seats back then, lol.

I think my Pontiac qualifies for this thread since nobody ever knows what it is. Original 455 car updated with EFI and 5-speed. Now in the process of a 600 HP LS7 swap, updated and modified frame with custom Global West long travel coil over suspension. See the build site in the Project Updates section.

i have an 85 Cutlass Sedan that will be PT style. Does that count as an oddball?
I bought it off ebay in February, been parked since. I return to the states in 5 weeks from now (been overseas for 3 years), and already have the wheels, suspension, and stereo bought for it.
Next year is a 4.8L or 5.3L GM swap.

Here is a picture of my 1965 Buick Skylark. It is going to get an L92 engine with a 6l80 transmission along with other upgrades. We are going to have to raise the transmission hump about an inch in order to clear the new transmission. Got the car last May and have been doing some work on it. I will post a picture of the new dash. It will look pretty much as you see it except it will be painted Lexus Starfire Pearl White and it will have American Racing 17" AR-500 rims. Rear size to be determined by how much we can open up the wheel well without cutting into the frame. Also geting bucket seats. A couple of pictures.
