I know its been recently released and the Detroit speed stuff does look really awesome, i think their front conversion must be amazing. Just wondering if anyone has used it or is using it on a new build. Haven't heard any feedback yet. I have plans to do something like this over the winter and was considering the Roadster Shop Fast Track and the Detroit Speed set up.

We've installed the AlumaFrame and front suspension on our BOSS 302.0 project, we'll have a photo gallery up later today to show some shots of the install, along with a complete video of the install soon. It went pretty smoothly, there are a couple challenges to the subframe mounting, namely drilling holes on an angle, but not too difficult. More to come on this from us.

How many shop hours would a install like this take Kevin? just the subframe not the engine install...and is there a kit to mount to factory steering column..or do you need a aftermarket column?

Sweet i will be following this install, what motor are you guys using? I also would like to know the deal on steering column etc.

My car has ignition on the column and no aftermarket company makes such an animal for Fords

We're using a Coyote 5.0 in this one. We'll start a build thread on the car shortly.

I'll see if we can get a ballpark estimate as to how long it would take in an assembled car for you, Fastback.

DSE normally specifies a column that will work with their steering rack, not sure if a stock unit will adapt, but we'll check into it. Lots of these parts are still trickling out of DSE as they are finalized, so this is definitely a real-time build based on what's available today.

how will the fender aprons be finished off?

We don't have any pics back yet but for the kits we have sold the verbal feedback is great. This was a long anticipated product line and WILL perform as advertised, they track test all their products before public release.
