With everything here at the GMR, good is simply not good enough. A perfect example of this is below, the front hub lock nuts for the GMR C5/6 hubs.

On the left is the standard WH-N-05 lock nut designed around a simple washer tab that bends up to lock the nut in place. On the Right is the new GMR designed and manufactured lock nut.

These new lock nuts feature an improved contact surface with the inner bearing race, allowing for perfect alignment on the bearing. We have also increased the thread engagement by 30% while providing a 200% better hold on the snout compared to the traditional locking setup. This is accomplished with the use of very precise slots machined in the sides of the nut that allow the 12.9 hardware to pinch the threads of the snouts just enough to hold and NOT cause any damage to the snout itself.

These New Lock Nuts are designed with a perfect slip fit into the GMR front hub socket adapters for ease of prep on your front hubs.

These New lock nuts are standard for all Front GMR Hub assemblies.

But Jason, I already have your front hubs, do these work on them?
Yes and I will be sending out these for everyone with Front GMR hubs, they will be in the mail next week.

Very cool Jason, so the small allen head bolts squeeze the threads to lock with the snout threads? That is a pretty sweet design, I understand your sickness of dreaming up parts all the time, but you guys follow through with making the stuff and we are all thankful for that!
