Stock subframe, no minitubs.. will end up getting basic bolt on suspension parts (so a bit lower.
1969 Camaro
18" rim.. what backspace and what would be the best size tires? 245 fronts? 285 rears?
This is for a buddy and I don't deal with stock cars much.

I found this list but it doesn't include 18" rims...
69 Camaro:
15x4 No specific tire recommendations
15x7 195 or 205 or 225/60/15 Front & Rear
15x8 245 or 255/60/15 Rear only
16x7 195 or 205 or 225/50/16 Front & Rear
16x8 205 or 225 or 245 or 255/50/16 Front & Rear
17x7 195 or 205 or 225/40/17 Front & Rear
17x8 205 or 225or 245 or 255/40/17 Front & Rear

There are some 18" wheels on there, but 17" is much more common.

I have 18x20 on one 19x20 on another and 18x8 and 18x10 on another. Have done it all. 19x20 is the stuff

I have 245/40/18 on 18x8's w/5" BS up front and 275/40/18 on 18x9's w/5.25" BS on the rear of my '67 Camaro.
You might have a little more room in the rear of a '69, but 285's would have been a real tight fit on mine.
