I'm in the process of finishing up my LS swap, in order for me to run the intake tube over to the drivers side fender i need more clearance, I have all my airconditioning and heater stuff coming out the passenger side.

So I'm willing to bet I would have the same issue too. Was this spec'ed out for a BBC?

Not if you have clearance on the passenger side.
