Camaro wheel size

Help ... will an 18x9.5 rim, 5.75 in backspace, with a 285/40/18 Nitto NT555 fit on the rear of an unmodified '71 Camaro (no mini tubs, etc.)? I mean with NO clearance or rubbing issues? Thanks!

They should fit no problem. Im running 20x9.5 on my 70 with 5.5 backspacing if I remeber correctly and I wish I had an extra 1/4 to 1/2 in board. The only problem I see is the wheels will sit a little too far in the wheelwell. If you need info on camaros you should check out Nastyz28.com it a 2nd gen camaro site
