I replaced the turn signal switch and the flasher in the fuse in the 76 Monte Carlo. The hazards work but no turn signal. I hear it's two flashers. Where the other one at? Anyone have pictures of it or what it look like?

My car has 2 seperate flashers as well. Both were up under the dash near the radio panel. No idea on a Monte. Did it work before? You are not giving people much to work with.

Sorry. Yes the right side did but not left . I thought it was switch so I replaced the turn signal switch. But now both sides don't work just the hazards works.

Sorry, long holiday. Electrical systems are not as bad as they seem, it just takes time to troubleshoot them. I started on MH53s and British cars and if I can shoot them, I can shoot anything lol. Since ya changed a bunch of stuff its going to be tough. But I think you probably had something other than the switch bad and when you changed the switched you screwed it up. Of course I don't know but let's start from scratch. I'm assuming you have a column mount switch that is a pain in the buttocks to get at right? So its not easy to go back to the old one? If not no worry you can shoot what you have. The turn signal wires are usually brown and light blue for future reference. I emphasize usually.

Start at the switch and see if you have 12v. If you do operate the switch and see if it then goes to the relay, if not go backwards and find out why no 12v at switch. Then just trace the voltage and check for very good grounds. I find most times its grounds that go bad on turn signals not power unless there is a hard fail like a switch or relay. Find your relays. If you don't have a wiring schematic get one and stop guessing. Also, if you don't have a good multimeter you might as well get one of those too. Electronics are easily diagnosed to a known fail point. Don't throw parts at an electrical problem as most times you will cause more mess and lose a bunch of troubleshooting options. Nobody here is going to be able to tell you something like "its the green wire by the headlight switch". You will have to dive in and troubleshoot it down. Its not impossible and it is kind of fun once you get the hang of it. All you need is the diagram and a voltmeter, which usually can be substituted with a $8 test light in a pinch (although I suggest getting a meter if you plan on continuing to play with cars). Google is your friend. Again not trying to be a doucherocket, its just no one is going to be able to shoot that problem without hands on the car. Even if someone had a 76 Monte with that same problem, its very likely their solution could be entirely wrong for your car. So, get in there and fix it, and let us know when you got it. We will all cheer ya on. I commented because this site is very helpful and full of people way smarter than me, but they probably aren't going to comment, because they honestly can't help ya. Didn't want the site to come across as stuck up or anything. Good luck and as you come up with stuff let us know.
