Poor man's 454 fuel injection

Do you think it would be possible to adapt the engine management and ignition system from a 8.1l big block onto a mark IV 454. I don't see why you couldn't unless there is some kinda differentiations in the block castings. I figure I could just run a throttle body and make a sheetmetal intake.

It should be possible to use the 8.1L stuff (except the intake). It may be easier to run the Vortec 454 setup which would allow you to use the complete intake if you want.
