Now that I'm finally getting settled in Georgia I have the itch to get back to work on the wagon. A big part of that includes track time so I can get the new suspension dialed in. In Utah, besides regular scheduled SCCA events we had "open track day" autocross at a local track on the 2nd Weds of every month.

So far I'm not having much luck finding anything like that here, and for the most part I've missed out on the big events for this season. Any of you south-east folks know of some smaller events I can get into? I don't mind driving an hour or two to get there. I'm in Acworth, about 1 hr nw of Atlanta. Please let me know, I'm really itching to push my car to see what it's got...

Thanks, I did a google search on Turner field / solo Atlanta which led me to the Atlanta region SCCA site. I try to avoid racing on Sunday so I'm thinking I will try to get in on their Oct 6th race.

Any other regular events, like maybe in Tennessee, Kentucky, east Alabama or west side of the Carolinas?

There are events at Atlanta Motorsports park and Road Atlanta. Most of the road racing that I am aware of are clubs that rent the tracks. You may need to join a club to run. The SVT club was like $30 to join I think.

I have also run at Little Talladega which was fun.
