Guys I could really use some help here.

I am looking at this Be Cool radiator. It is 31x18 and 2.5" thick. Single row with 1" tube. I am looking to replace the radiator in my Chevelle and its the right size, I just am not sure if single row is going to be enough?

I have a small block 350 stated to make 350hp.

That must be a typo. It's probably a 1" tube/2 row. Modern radiators use bigger tubes and less rows. Visualize the cross section of the radiator. The big tubes are flattened. So picture two 1" tubes side by side that are flattened vertically. Above and below the tubes are fins. The top and bottom of these wide, flat tubes provide more fin contact area than the old days when they use three or four 3/8" tubes.

Works great. 350HP should be no problema.

I agree with Steve. Must be a typo. Shoule be (2) 1" rows.

The part number is 68003. I checked Be Cool's website it is indeed a single 1 1/4" core with a trans cooler.

Hmm. Right you are. It's news to me. It's all about contact area for dissipation and I wonder if one row will do the trick--even with 1.25" tube. Then again, we're only talkin about 350HP. Good pics on their site. You can see the flattened, extra wide tubes for greater contact as described above.

As much as I would have loved to jump on the deal, $150 for the single row radiator with trans cooler...I had to pass. I thought about trying to resell it for a small profit, Summit lists this radiator at $379 but again I passed.

I will end up buying a two row universal radiator that I am sure will meet my cooling needs.

Good call. I run a 2 row/1" tube Fluidyne with Vintage Air monster fan at 500HP and it works great.
