These are the Main 2 rear packages, we are also just about done with the complementary Front packages. Clients can order complete, proven, and very high quality setups. Just like how we sell the ZO6 front / rear setups.

Very nice, are those the F3 Caliper? I just bought a barely used 13" F4 kit for a c5 corvette for a really good deal. Just curious what I should run on the rear. An F4 caliper in the rear to keep the pads the same or run the f3? I already have some speedway engineering 3.5" weld on brackets for 12.19" rotors. Could you quote me for to rear calipers either F3 or F4 and to 12.19" rotors 1.25" wide with a 8on7" bolt pattern?
Thanks,
Jon

The setup we suggest is a rear F3 with 1.5" pistons and a 12.19 rotor by 0.81 thick. Can you check your F4 calipers, they should be 1.87" pistons, if so then the F3 with 1.5" will be a perfect match.
1.25" rotor thickness in the rear is a little too much mass per our suggested F3 caliper, but completely possible. As for the pads in the rear, for more street applications I suggest the #82 and if you are looking for a serious track pad then the #3.
Let me know on the front caliper piston diameter, also weather or not your adamant on the 1.25" rear rotor. I suggest a 0.81 with the F3.

The F3 uses a smaller pad than the F4 correct? I should get the brakes no later than Monday, then I can confirm the piston size. I am not stuck on using the 1.25" rotor, just wasn't sure if the 12.19" x .81" rotor was adequate.
Thanks again,
Jon

Those look awesome. Good job.
12"x0.81" should be adequate for a pro touring car.

Yes, there has been some debate on this as well. For a good starting platform this is what we suggest, stepping up to a slightly thicker rotor will be an option as well.
The reality is this, the rear package is setup to properly complement a F4 - 13" front setup on a 3400-3600lb car that will be considered to be pro-tour and not full race. Once you go past the realistic limits of the rear F3 / 12.19 brake package then you will be in the ballpark to step into an F4 / hurricane 13+ inch true Road Race setup.
The way I see it, anything above a F3 / 12.19 in the rear is not needed unless you really have to upgrade, at which point you will be running a F5 / hurricane in front with F4 / hurricane in the rear. More then possible, but still not realistic compared to the market. I will be posting the package prices up shortly along with some weight comparisons... It is truly amazing how much the F3 setup really weighs.

Top noch Jason!!.. have the F4 Tornado in the frond and rear. Iven tho our project wil have 730hp 700 lbs tq. with 16x11x25 rim tire combo in the frond and 16x13x27 in the rear and the car aprox will weighing in at 2900/3000 lbs and wil have a top speed of around 200mph Corry sirguested there was no need for the F5 huricane callipers and the massif Hurricane rotors..
He also told me that the F3 Tornado with the same pistons has the same torque output as the F4 calipers... But sins i have 16 inch Bogard racing wheels with a 17 inch rim harth i could go for the 13 inch disk F4 tornado callipers combo, and still have room to spare .
As stated before i have a complete new revised set that came of a ch ship winning usa GT 1 car at the brakemans shop boxt up and reddy to be shipt out.
But sins my engine is curendly being build il waight having them shipt over.
Also if the econemy and finanses alouws me i ""might"" have you build me a moser 12 bold with the floter system AND these brake put on them.. i might whant to go for the wavetrack and the 35 spline if thats posible??.. also Corry told me they closed the custom shop because lately they are to bissye . i belive my system was the last one of the last ones they workt on.
i had the ATS spindle diliverd and they custom fabricated around it. so they DO have the brakets needed for those sets.. im sure you wil fill that custom gab.. have included some pict of the new and revised calipers(big pict) and the brakets being made . you can see the C6 corvette braket and the braket made for the ATS spindle, very simulair but a little taller..

Hey Jason,
Got my front brake kit the other day, its a 13" rotor with f4 1.875" pistons.
Quick question, do you have or can make a rotor adapter for your front c5 hubs to fit the brakeman 13" rotor bolt pattern? I beleive it is 8 on 7"
Thanks,
Jon

*** this is a mock up only, hence why the rotor is backwards (its the other side). I will have pics with the correct rotor shortly***

Jason,
Is that picture above a brake man rotor? Is it plated? Looks to shiny to be iron.

yes sir, its a 13 inch pro-cast unit. They are coated, then you scuff them with 80grit before final install.

I have had a few questions regarding the Front / rear setup that we have selected to offer as our "pro-touring" application. The combination of the F4-13" rotor front with the F3-12.19" rotor in the back is currently winning in the following classes: NASA AIX, NASA AI, SCCA GT3, IT and Redline Time Attack
Here is a little video of one very happy Brake Man client.
