Hi gang,
Glad I found this site. Here is some info on my Pro Tourer:
Car: 1986 Monte Carlo SS
Engine: 1995 LT1 (with fuel injection)
Compression 11:1
Cam: Comp Cams 306
Rockers: Comp Cams 1.5 rollers
Springs: Comp Cams “Behive” springs
Tranny: 1995 T56 6 speed
Rear end: 1986 Grand National 3.42:1 limited slip
Brakes: 13” C5 Vette calipers & rotors front
12” Vette rotors with F body calipers
Exhaust: Hooker full length headers; 3” true duals, X pipe, flowmaster mufflers
Wheels: Centerline Stars, 17X8 front 17X9.5 rear
Tires: BFGoodrich 245/45 front, 275/40 rear
Ignition: factory Optispark with MSD coil & 7AL
Suspension: BMR rear arms
PST bushings up front, Pole Position adjustable upper A arms
Factory rear sway bar.
F body 1LE 36mm front sway bar
Other things:
4” cold air intake
Port match heads to intake
Hurst shifter
Impala SS cooling fans
Goodmark cowl hood
Hopefully someday I can get this thing on an actual road course to see what it will do. Eventually I will probably put a roll cage in it, & would like to put the 275’s up front & put 315’s out back, to do that I will have to notch the frame. Would love to put a Vette IRS in it.
