Okay I searched.
Whats the offset and tire I need for a 20 inch rim with a non tubbed Abody? Possible to run 2010 camaro rims?
Factory 2010 Camaro SS tires and wheels
Front 245/45-20 = 28.7" tall, 8.0 wheel
Rear 275/40-20 = 28.7" tall, 9.0 wheel
Factory 2012 Camaro ZL1 tires and wheels
Front 285/35-20 = 27.9" tall, 10.0
wheel
Rear 305/35-20 = 28.4" tall, 11.0 wheel
IF I mini tub, what will that get me? It seems you gain nothing mini tubbing a 68-72 because of the frame being so prominent?
It seems just roll the lip and your done, unless your into cutting the frame with the 68-72 a bodies.

Mini tubbing means modifying the frame, either moving it inward, or taking a notch out of it.
Widening the wheelhouses are only one part of "mini tubbing"

I think these guys are bringing out a kit for 68-72:

okay let me rephrase...
Will adjusting the wheel housings gain me anything on a 68-72 a body? :)
I won't call it mini tubbing but "squaring" off the rounded corners on the wheel housings? Can I run larger tires if I do this?
Is anyone running 20's on an unmodified 68-72 a body?

I don't think you'll see a lot of 20" wheels here. Your backspacing is what really will determing whether it fits or not. Here is a guy running 20" rears on a chevelle, of course his were built to order. It can be done, I just don't think the Camaro wheels have the right backspacing. You probably should ask in the wheel and tire forum.

20 or 19's are fine for me. It looks like you can pull off 10 inch rims in the back though with the stock frame.
once I get the car back slightly together I can go crazy in the back. My gas tank is inside the trunk so that is out of the way.

Mike2nd keep me posted on what you can fit without mini tubing I have a 68 chevelle and want 18x8 245 and 19x10 275 or 295 in the rear going with these http://www.billetspecialties.com/wheels/pro-touring-series/protouringseries/spline/ but they need all the measurements since they are custom built to my set up and they take 6 weeks to make. My car is on a rotisserie so have to wait and doing coilovers in the rear keep me posted please

I have a 295/40/20 on a 20x10 intro on the back of my 71. I am going to step down to a 35 series in a 295 or 305. I don't have a good backspace number or you because I am running a 4.5 backspace and a narrowed rear. I think most guys with stock rearends and 20s run a 5.75 to 6 inch backspace. You can run a 305 all day long on a 70-72 and a 295 on 68-69 without rubbing depending on how low your car is dropped. Mine is lowerd about 5 inches. Below is my build thread with some pics. My car is not finished.
For the front you could squeeze the 10 camaro front wheel and tire in there but you would not be able to lower the front at all. That tire is almost 29 inches tall where most front tires on lowered Chevelles are around 25.5 to 26.5 tall. I haven't ordered my front wheels yet but they will be 19s. I'll either run a 245/40 or 275/35 depending on what my measurements come out to after I finally get my spindles.

It's a good idea to see what tires are available first too, if you want 200TW or less it can prove challanging. I've bit the bullet and mini-tubbing mine for this reason.
