Is there any GM rear wheel drive automatic transmission that will bolt to either an Olds Aurora or Northstar V-8 I heard those are basically the same engine?? Thanks.

700r-4 from behind a 60* v6 in a s10 or gbody. That is the 2.8 3.1 series. You have to clearance the top bellhousing for the starter and only 5 of the bellhousing bolts line up. It has been a long time since the one we did but I think that's what it took. I think there were spacers between the flexplate and torque converter as well.
