Does any one here have a torchmate? If so how well do you like it ? What or the pros and cons of them?

I was able to buy a table someone built and add my own electronics for way less then a Torchmate would have cost new or used. The table I ended up with is a 6x10 and has a water tray. Check out CandCNC.com for an idea of plug-and-play packages for your table. If you eBay CNC plasma tables you should be able to find something that fits your needs.

I bought a table and gantry kit from precision plasma.com and the controls from CandCNC.com.Super happy. It's a 4x4 table with Torch height control.Have around 6K it less the plasma cutter.https://static1.pt-content.com/images/pt/2012/09/chevelleIII015-1.jpghttps://static1.pt-content.com/images/pt/2012/09/chevelleIII014-1.jpgIt took me about 2 months to get it up and going after I got all the componets. But I just kinda messed around w/it when I felt like it.I got a written quote from torchmate, then when I went to order they rised the price on me 10%they since Lincoln ele. bought the price increase was from crop. They wouldn't make it right, so I went the DIY route.

We have a torchmate 2x4 at our shop. It works good for most everything. If i were to do it again i would go the way coolwelder 62 did. My inlaws neighbor has the same setup in his home garage. Can cut faster due to the drive set up compared to the lead screw style that torchmate has. Plus you get a 4x4 and torch height control for about the same price. Torchmate has good tech support. I am still trying to get the bind out of the last 2 inches of each end of the 4ft side.
