i was wondering if anyone else is a collector of all things road racing ( trans am, scca, etc) from the 60s? Recently i started collecting patches in hopes of creating a " race team" jacket that is an homage to the Terlingua crew in the 60s. I think the lore is awesome and the thought of these guys tagging thier stickers on every car that they came across at a racetrack is awesome.
I started doing some research and looking up old photos to get a better idea of the sponsors and tracks that they visited in the era. Then i started keeping an eye out at fleamarkets when my wife drags me to them. So far I've amassed a solid collection.
