Well i just traded my GTO (2006 LS2 M6) for a 98% restored 65 Mustang Coupe. It has a few little issues that i am working through, but im loving the car a ton so far.

here is the mod list:

302 punched out to a 333 with forged crank, rods, pistons.
Edelbrock performer RPM heads 2.02 valve
Edelbrock performer rpm intake
Edelbrock 650cfm carb
Lunati cam
1.6 Roller Rockers
9qt oil pan
Fresh C4 transmission
3500 stall converter
8" rear end
3.55 detroit locker
subframe connectors
tinted windows
Electric fuel pump
Electric cooling fan and 3 core aluminum radiator
Converted to a modern 130amp internally regulated alternator
Long tube headers with 2 1/2" magnaflow exhaust
Undercoated and then painted to match the rest of the car which is a sunset orange
New floor pans and the rest of the sheet metal was good so it was left as is rust free. the car was media blasted to bare metal before paint

It has Vintage air, Corbeau front seats, custom rear bench, custom door panels, trunk is all finished with custom panels matching the rest of the interior. It has a modern radio with the classic look.

on to the pics!!

the car is pretty much road ready other than a few little issues that i am having (thanks to those that have responded in my other thread.) but there will be alot of suspension changes and probably a wheel change at some point more towards the "pro-touring" type but im sure there will be a ton more stuff as the modding will never end. i am loving this car so far and am looking forward to being a part of the classic car community.

Very nice stang, I love the color! The seats do look great and much better than stock I am sure! My 66 has factory pony interior and after 10 minutes my back is not too happy with me

Great looking car! I would add a Monte Carlo bar under the hood if your planning any autocross or track days. Those shock towers flex like crazy.

Coupe man myself, car looks great and ya, a monty bar is a game changer in the handling department and a rear sway bar. Cheap yet very effective mods.
