OK so running a Ricks Tank on a carburated application and have the intank pump.. So originally I had a fuel cell in the car when I bought it. With all the talk about going with hard line, not needing to go with hard line, matching hardlines to braided lines, ethenol eating rubber hoses etc.. I have decided to go with braided TEFLON coated hose to and from the regulator for both the feed line and the return line. I say this because with all the work I did on the suspension and having minitubbed the rear and added ridetech 4 link to it as well it just is alot easier to fish the lines through using the braided steel lines. So my question is, 1. if I use TEFLON coated braided lines will I have a problem still and 2. The line that is currently in the car is braided steel line but has almost an inner and outer looking hose, like a hose within a hose look to it with the outside being plastic like. Is this TEFLON coated? If so am I safe using the existing line(which is very new) with another line for a return? Also what size line should I be running to and from the engine? I have a 383 making around 550 hp and the lines coming off the tank I believe are -8AN(RICKS TANK)
Thanks in advance!
