under the car right now, 68 camaro sway bar won't come off!

Trying to replace my front sway bar with a hotchkis unit, got everything unbolted and have spent the last 30 min twisting and rotating the sway bar every which way and it wont come off! Any tips appreciated!

I had the same problem putting the DSE sway bar on my nova. Finally took one of the lower arms completely off and was finally able to get it in there! Good luck!!

Yeah I finally gave up, I think I'm going to have to resort to that; either that or lift up the engine. From what I can tell the motor is so low its taking away about 1/4" of clearance I need to pull up the bar and rotate it enough to get one of the ends thru the subframe.
