Some may remember the dogs taken from a neglect situation last year. The breeder faces 90 felony counts including drug charges. He's now agreed to release some of the dogs so they can now be adopted.

There are about 200 dogs at this point and only 33 have been released! Many are/were emaciated. Females at 35lbs and some males at 45-50 lbs at rescue. That's 20 lbs or maybe more under standard.

Because there are so many, the rescue has expanded the territory for fosters to as far as CA and Chicago.

We're involved in transporting them from Helena, MT.

Also, I'm in need of a camper shell to fit a 2010 Toyota Tundra Double Cab short bed to rent or borrow for a transport the weekend of July 7th. The rescue would like me to have a camper shell on my truck for the transport for heat/security issues on a transport this week. It's going to be hot and the dogs are runners so the double containment will be a big help.

I don't have a personal need to buy one outside of this type of thing, so I'm hoping to rent/borrow one unless I get a SUPER good deal on one. Used would be okay. 2010 Toyota Tundra Double Cab short bed in Pyrite Mica color.

Checking the usual places as well, but I'd rather rent or borrow for the time being.
