Wondering what the best push to start keyless ignition system is the best for a 69 Camaro. I have been checking out digital guard dawg, viper, keep it clean kit, etc. If anyone has had any experience setting up a push to start/keyless entry kit for there Camaro any info would help. from best available kit to installation. thanks

We put the Viper Smart Start on my wife's Expedition. I rarely work on the later model stuff, so I had Best Buy install it (so I can't speak to the installation). It works great, and the "start from your phone" bit means her vehicle is heated / cooled off by the time she gets to it when leaving her office. I got the kit that also came with a keychain remote - both work great.

I do like being able to start your car from your phone with that Viper system. But I like being able to just walk up to the car and have it unlock, so this is the system I was going to get:

Are you running an automatic? Here in VA it is illegal to install a remote start in a manual trans car.

I went with the Advanced Keys system on my 69 Camaro. Didn't use the RFID setup though. Since I have shaved door handles, I use the keyfob to pop the door and to activate the ignition. There are more details on this thread if interested:
