The rearend I bought for my 1st Gen F-body has LT1 brakes on it. But the way it's mounted the hydraulic line has a really tight bend in it, rubs on the axle housing, and the parking brake contacts the u-bolts. If I can rotate the calipers 45 to 90 degrees clockwise, it would be a lot cleaner install.

Does anyone make a bracket for this conversion? The problem is only on the driver-side.

I had those rear brakes on my 69 Camaro for awhile. I didn't like the clocking of the driver's side caliper so I just rotated it to where I wanted it, clamped it to the axle tube flange, marked where I wanted the new holes with a transfer punch and then drilled and tapped the bracket 3/8-16 and attached it with grade 8 bolts. As I recall that GM bracket is about 5/8" thick, so plenty of meat. Worked great and was simple to do. Make sure that however you clock it that the bleeder nipple is at the top of the caliper so that you can properly bleed it.

Thanks gort69. Did not think of clamping it. Material drills pretty easily too.
