Hey I have a 79 Camaro that my brother and I are restoring, going for a pro touring look, and I was hoping some of the late 2nd gen Camaro owners would post pictures of their pro touring cars!

You can find a number of them in the camaro picture threads. I believe there's even a 2nd gen specific thread. Most if not all the years are represented.

Here's the thread. It was further down than I thought it would be

Took a look at the thread.

@Calderone
Yeah I can't seem to find a late 70's Pro touring camaro that I really like there are a few out there though.

They are definitely few and far between compared to the early 70-73 cars. Firebirds from the same years are getting more attention but even then they aren't as popular as the earlier ones. Keep looking though, they are out there. Be a leader too and build your car first.

I believe the owner's name is Mark Giles but there is a 79-81 camaro that's basically a stock car with a camaro shell on it. Tigman I think is his screen name I believe. Gorgeous car. I also think it's in one of these pictures threads already.

This is my 79 z-28. I have had it since 1987 and it has been through lots of changes. My car now has C-5 front brakes/Wilwood MC/383 Chevy with AFR 195 heads/TH-400 and 3.42 rear gears. I also have Hotchkis front control arms/springs/sway bar/Bilstein shocks all around/Vintage wheel works V-40s 17x8 and 17x9.5 with Nitto 555 tires.
