Has anyone used C4 ZR1 wheels on a 3rd gen Nova?

Looking at buying some ZR1's from a forum member.

Car is a 69 Nova with stock control arms, Hotchkis 1.25" sway bar, and 2" drop springs.

Fronts are 17x8.5, 255/40/17 with 2.5" adapters. Not sure on the backspacing, but a quick google search comes up with +50, so hopefully that's correct.

Does anyone know if these will fit without hitting the frame or the fender at full lock?

On a Nova I'm sure you will have a limited turning with that offset, but I have never tried it myself.

That's what I'm afraid of. I already have 18x8's with a +27 offset and 1.5" adapters and have almost zero turning radius.

Why doesn't anyone make cheap wheels that aren't basically Torq Thrust knockoffs? -_-

It takes some tinkering with adapter sizes, but they can work.

Here's what I have on my Nova right now:

Since these cars were built to such tight tolerances, I ended up with a 1.5" adapter on the drivers side and a 1" adapter on the passenger side in the rear. My memory is a little fuzzy, but I believe the front adapters were 2".
