View Full Version : looking for a car builder?
So as my project has wrapped up, I would like to vouche for the car builder that did my car. The project took a little over 6 months and he had an open door to any time I wanted to come by. He is extremely anal about perfection and he is passionate about cars. He is honest and would rather make fair money from people referring others instead of making a killing off one project. It allowed a blue color worker like me to afford what is normally a high dollar project. He does complete builds or just small projects If anyone would like info, or are in Arizona and would like to see my car, feel free to PM me. Thanks.

He could be the best builder but as another anal car owner he needs to pull the caution stickers and bar codes! Then polish it up. there is alwasy faster, bigger, better for what we can afford compared to many in the game but attention to details for me is key.... maybe I value form as well as function too much.

My bad for posting the only pictures I have on my cell phone when it was being assembled. The seats aren't even bolted in yet, I just got beyond excited seeing the almost finished product with the new Rushforth wheels on and threw some pictures up. It's sad there's always a few in the crowd that need to speak when they dont need too. Next time I will put a date/time/% complete description with the picture

And as for attention to detail, the pad on the fender with no hood would be a great indication it's not a current picture. I'll post the finished product this week!

Personally I'd sue the guy, he left the radiator hose off and probably damaged the motor :pat:
Seriously, Great car, and if you're happy, great job.

Car looks good. What is the work you had the shop do?
Thank you! After the breaks went out and it ran into the back of the fire truck, I got paint and body done. He did the LQ9 with LS3 top end, subframe connectors, ford 9" rear, lowering springs, drop spindles, C5 brakes, 4L80E, custom console, vintage air, BMW seats, tanks Inc fuel in-tank fuel pump....that's the meat and potatoes. I will get up finished pics asap. It's amazing how giddy I feel! Lol
