Hi Guys, I'm in the middle of a brake mod using BMW Brembo 4 pistons calipers, got everything buttoned up, but the adapter to plumb everything.

Looks like BMW uses 10 mm x 1 fittings and I have stock Nova brake lines for now ( 3/8 ?)

Can someone shine a light on either brake lines or just adaptor. The best would be using an adaptor where the line connects between the hardline and flew hose right on the subframe.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Im pretty sure that I have seen these at any local parts store. They have various brake line fittings and I think adapters

Thanks for your response Steve, problem is I'm far away from any local US stores! Most of them don't ship :(

The easiest way to go is to convert to AN fittings & lines. Can go either -3 or -4, with -3 having more of a selection of parts. Use an inverted flair (female) to -3 male on the end of the hardline (fronts are likely 3/16").

To attach to the caliper use a -3 male to banjo of the proper size. Then a piece of -3 flex line between them.

Bob.

Some one here a year or so ago posted a link to a supplier that had a whole list of adapters of all kinds. I'll see if I can dig it up.

But using AN is an easy way especially if you use some flex line

Thanks guys, I send a mail to Kore3 to see if they have something to hook me up with, if not I'll go that route, ANs are quite expensive though!

Are you in the US? Autozone says they will ship this one to your home

If not, you can check on amazon and ebay too
