VIN run/ Test

A fellow on a Norwegian forum came across a -59 T-bird here in Norway. There is no registered documents for this vehicle in Norway so to get it registered here he need to confirm it's ID. This also to confirm it's not stolen and so on. Is there any place online the VIN can be run ?

Thanks, the car has probably been in Norway for the last 20 years. Nothing there....

The absence of a return means its clear. This isn't a VIN history report, it just tells you if there is a total loss record, or if its stolen.

As long as it's not stolen in US it makes it easier. 99% of american cars in Norway are US import.
