Hey Guys & Gals

This is an amazing site!

From Toronto, Ontario. I've always had a thing for cars, I've owned numerous things from 5 liter mustangs to turbo four bangers

About 6yrs ago my father in-law decided to let me start the restoration of his 1969 Firebird that had been sitting for 5 years.

Now 6 yrs later the car is still in pieces that don't resemble a car and I,m getting bored of my daily driver so i bought another 1969 Firebird to drive now.

It was completely stock when I got it, now it has hotchkis 2" drop springs and new kyb shocks in front. The back has adjustable shocks that I have lowered the pressure in to drop the back.

Just picked up the rims last week the are Coys C-67'S 17 X 8 in front and 18 X 9 out back (the back rubs the fittings on the adjustable shocks need to fix)

Things I would like to do are:

Suspension busing kit
change steering box
Lower the rear properly
3" exhaust

Pic 1 New car

Pic 2 state of old one currently

Pic 3 old one before metal work started

First I must say that I am a big fan of the 67-69 Firebirds. The 69 Convertibles are the rarest if I remember correctly so you are lucky to have 2.

We offer some great items for the 67-69 Firebirds, but since you have a convertible take a look at our Tunnel Brace that replaces your original:

I was already eyeing that plus the bolt in sub-frame connectors on your web site. Do the sub-frame connectors work on convertibles?

Absolutely....... They were actually developed on a convertible 68 Camaro.

Love the bird. Great job. I had mine frame connected. Don't know what make they were but i remember them to be easily installed. Like your colour choice buy the way. I also live in the area. have you ever bin to the car meet at AMC at the 400 and 7? Maybe i'll catch you there before the season is over.
