61065Whats up. This is josh aka lowbark. Am starting my thread. I have a 1985 monte carlo 4.3 EFI. Vary nice sothern car. No rust in the body at all. But it had hydraulics on it. Vary clean car and it was a ferind that had the car. He put the juic on it and he nows what he was doing.. so i got it for $2000. I dove it won summer to have fun in it and it was. But never agein. I strip the frame of every thing. motor all of the suspension and juic . The top of the fram horn in the back use bent in and rusted. do to the weight of the battires and the acid hopping arond. Back coil about to go thro the pokit and cherkess all in the weldes in the front. So its geting a new frame.60937 I got new one from the salveg yard and got it blasted for $175 6093860939 Vary nice for $175 . i worket for a day and hafe welding all semes. i boxet the frame rails609406094161066

That much of a notch required for a 285 tire? I have 275 with no notch, 285 is less than 1/2" wider. My goal for a notch would be a 315 rear tire. Good work on it by the way.

Curious for some updates also, that is a crazy notch. My wagon has 275/40-17 with room to spare, no notch.

Sorry for the lack of updates!! First thing I sold the wheels on a Cutlass last year. I put all my QA1 coil overs on it to wen I sold it too.. I want to put the widest wheel I can in the back. I thanking 19x12 in back 19x10 in the front. I bout a Tremec TKO 600 with a .82 5th gear. With a pro 5.0 short throw shifter and gear stops. I have a McLeod super street pro clutch and McLeod hydraulic throwout bearing. I have a Quick Time bellhousing too. Am going to go with all Ridetech HQs.. I'm going to be putting a 69 mustang fuel cell in it.. Am working on that now and its about done. Ill going to be running a small block in it.. I have a 383 that is all forged Scat Crank H-Beam 6.0 rods and Kith black pistons with Total seal rings. I do not have any heads yet....
